Integrated Blasting Equipment

In this edition of Cold Jet Academy, we are going to a look at the different ways in which you Cold Jet dry ice blasters can be integrated into your industrial process.

Integrated dry ice blasting systems are cost effective solutions that provide superior cleaning performance and minimal space requirements. The systems enable continuous, uninterrupted and fully automated or semi-automated operation. Especially for recurring applications, such as surface preparation and parts finishing, consistency is an important aspect in production. Here we offer several possibilities depending on your production factors, such as quantities, geometries, cycle time and more. All integrated systems are connected via IoT, which increases control and also provides the ability to monitor and document the process.

Semi-Automated Solution

These systems are either manually filled with 3mm dry ice pellets or can be integrated with a dry ice production unit for continuous blasting. It can be connected to a robot or any other PLC-controlled automation system via an optional accessory package. They also have the versatility to retain their mobility for manual blasting. 

Fully-Automated Solution

The COMBI PCS Series of machines combine our industry leading dry ice pelletizers with our advanced dry ice blasters for autonomous and continuous cleaning. Our dry ice pelletizers offer the best conversion ratio of liquid CO2 on the market while producing the highest quality dry ice. Our most technologically advanced dry ice blaster incorporates our Particle Control System® (PCS), offering greater control for any application. Combined, we offer three machine options that provide two to four simultaneous blasting operations at various outputs.
